Spend Unused Flexible Spending or Health Savings Account Dollars in 2016

Are you enrolled in a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Spending Account (HSA)? Did you spend all of the money you had set aside in this account? If not, there’s still time to use it this year.

Additionally, some situations also allow a “grace period” of up to 2 ½ months extra to use the money (into 2017). Some can allow you to carry over up to $500 per year to use in the following year. While an employer can offer either one of these options, they aren’t required to offer either.

If you have money still in your flexible spending or health spending account, ask your human resources department if either of these options are available to you. If you do have extra flexible spending or health spending account money, consider putting that money towards your smile. Perhaps you’ve been contemplating getting dental implants or need a particular dental procedure. Maybe that one tooth is bothering you and you’ve been delaying a dentist visit.

If that’s the case, let Bennardo Dental of South Elgin help. We are family dental experts that can handle all of your dental needs. If your flexible spending or health spending account funds don’t cover everything, financing is available in some instances and, for certain procedures, we can even work with your medical insurance company to bill certain procedures.

Make an appointment today and see how Bennardo Dental can help you put your extra flexible spending or health spending account dollars to good use.
